Последние наиболее опасны как для окружающей среды, так и для сельскохозяйственной продукции и, в конечном счете, для человека. В соответствии с новой парадигмой необходимо сделать культурное растение способным к самозащите, т. е. устойчивым к вредным организмам и болезням.
